Please be specific about what you’re submitting your demo for (e.g. distribution, vocals, songwriting, etc.) Due to the volume of demos we receive, we ask that you only submit 2-3 songs for consideration. You can submit more, but we will likely not have an opportunity to hear them all.

If you are selected as a possible candidate for a record deal, we will be in touch in due course. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Distribution Deals

Do you already have a finished album that you’d like Shadow Mountain and Deseret Book to distribute to retailers? If so, please send all of the following required items to the address above: (1) a fully mixed and mastered CD with UPC barcode in completed packaging; (2) your detailed marketing plan; and (3) a recommended retail price. Please keep in mind that we will likely give feedback on cover art, pricing, and so forth. If we opt to distribute your CD, we will send you a standard contract agreement. And per industry standard, please note that any product we distribute is returnable to you at any time.

We promise that all submissions will be carefully considered, but please realize that sometimes even the most excellent projects and talents do not fit our current production needs. If you want your demo returned, you must send a self-addressed envelope with your demo. Otherwise, we regret that it will not be returned.
